My name is Janette and I'm an artist, a birth doula, a photographer and a facilitator from Seattle, WA. I believe that life is to be celebrated.
I am passionate about bodies, birth, art, stories, love, ceremonies, and spirituality. Our bodies are beautiful, magical and sacred. I want to celebrate your heart, your body, your fire and your radiance. With belly casting, we'll celebrate your pregnancy, and your journey to parenthood I feel honored to be a part of your journey.
I see lifecasting as a way to celebrate and honor bodies, connections and the present moment. It's about capturing something special to hold on to forever.
I see casting as a way of honoring and celebrating our bodies and our experiences, of bringing us back into our bodies, of shedding layers and pain we no longer need to hold and as a way of remembering who we are. We are beautiful! My goal is to build a safe space to inspire, empower, create dialogue, deconstruct our identities, explore relationships with our bodies, and to encourage a deeper connection with our bodies and spirits.
I am available for individual or group casting sessions, family hand castings, baby showers and blessingways. I also facilitate workshops and retreats for women's centers, universities, and private parties.
My studio is located in Seattle, WA, but I would love to travel to meet your needs.
